This Babies Class is tailored to families with infants from birth through 12 months at the semester start.  The music activities in this Babies class are specifically designed to teach parents how to support music development during their first year. Also how to connect with their little ones during the different stages of their first year, through music, using concepts like “purposeful touch,” “sound layering,” and “dancing for baby.” Babies classes use the same collection as mixed-age and Big Kids classes, enabling a seamless transition for families and teachers between class programs. Babies classes allow us the opportunity to honor each child’s musical birthright by supporting music development during their first year. Because of this, these children receive earlier musical support which helps them develop and grow into confident music-makers.
